|BEIJING http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/billige-vans-nintendo-slip-on-pure-hvid.html , Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- A wholesale market in downtown Beijing has closed and is expected to relocate to neighboring Hebei Province in a move to reduce traffic congestion and reduce population density in the capital.
Tianhaocheng Market, which closed on Monday, became the first of the 12 markets in the famous clothing wholesale zone near Beijing Zoo to shut its doors.
The relocation of the Beijing Zoo wholesale market zone marks a beginning for the capital to alleviate its many functions, said Zhu Erjuan, a professor with the Capital University of Economic and Business.
Pollution, traffic and population pressures in the capital are becoming too serious to ignore and to address this Beijing has begun by closing markets that are not consistent with its role as a capital city.
When workers removed the Tianhaocheng signboard, it also marked the end of an era of affordable http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-toy-story-sort-vans-sko-udsalg.html , fashionable clothes, users lamented on microblog Sina Weibo.
Built in the mid-1980s, the Beijing Zoo wholesale market zone was labeled as a "paradise" for young girls wanting to look fashionable on a budget. It attracts nearly 100,000 customers daily.
Stall tenants have been encouraged to move their businesses to Langfang City, Hebei Province, but this was not mandatory, said an official in charge of the closure.
According to an agreement signed by Beijing's Xicheng District and Langfang City last April http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-toy-story-old-skool-hvid-vans-sko-old-skool.html , the two sides will build a logistics zone and wholesale market in Langfang, after President Xi Jinping called for integrated development of the regions around Beijing last February.
Although more than 20,000 commercial tenants in the Beijing Zoo wholesale market zone contributed 60 million yuan (about 9.8 million U.S. dollars) in annual revenue to Xicheng District, it costs the government nearly 100 million yuan to handle its transportation and environment issues, said Wang Ning, chief of the Communist Party of China's (CPC) district committee.
In 2014, the number of booths in the zone was slashed by 1 http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/herre-vans-sk8-hi-reissue-udsalg-flade-rod.html ,300, or 10 percent. In 2015, more than 1,000 commercial tenants will be encouraged to move.
Beijing is home to elite universities, renowned hospitals and major state-owned enterprises, Tianjin and Hebei both trail behind the capital in this respect.
If the planned integration is to succeed, the huge gap in public resources and services must be filled http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-sk8-hi-slim-leather-tilbud-hvid-vans.html , said Zhao Jimin, an associate researcher with the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences.
It is necessary to provide neighboring regions with talent so they can enjoy similar levels of education, health care and social security, Zhao said.
The capital can benefit a lot from regional cooperation. It should not only slim down, but also shape up, Zhao added.

SYDNEY: Asylum-seekers held on an Australian customs vessel at sea for weeks were given lifeboats and told to make their own way back to India, a lawyer for the group said Monday (August 4).
The boatload of 157, who lawyer Hugh de Kretser said were mostly Christian Tamils fleeing persecution in Sri Lanka, set sail from India hoping to get to Australia.
"The clients we spoke to were absolutely terrified at what lay ahead for them," said de Kretser http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-old-skool-hvid-guld-old-skool-vans-tilbud.html , who is executive director of the Human Rights Law Centre. "They were terrified of the prospect of being dumped in the ocean on lifeboats, without experience in navigating or operating a boat and having to take responsibility for the families that were on the boat."
The group, which includes 50 children, were picked up by Australian authorities towards the end of June. They spent weeks on a customs boat, mostly locked in windowless rooms, before they were taken to Australia around July 25, their lawyers say.
Immigration Minister Scott Morrison http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-old-skool-sort-old-skool-vans-tilbud.html , who claims they are mostly economic migrants, said they could be returned to India - even if not citizens of that country - under an agreement with New Delhi. But all refused interviews with Indian consular officials on Australian soil and were instead transferred to a detention camp on the Pacific island of Nauru.
De Kretser said that after interviews with 15 of the 107 adults onboard, it appeared nine of them were separated from the others while they were still on the customs vessel and told how to use the lifeboats.
They were instructed in English that there would be 50 to 60 people on each boat and they would have to navigate them back to India. "When they refused, saying they had no experience in operating or navigating a boat, and couldn't take responsibility for ensuring the safety of those onboard, the officers told them that it was an Australian government decision and they had to obey," he said.
De Kretser claimed access to the group had been extremely limited http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-old-skool-pro-sort-old-skool-vans-denmark.html , but said some told him they had been living in India for less than six months when they made the voyage. He said they had spoken of a precarious existence in India, where they were unable to work and their children could not attend school, while some had fears about their safety. "These 157 men, women and children have been subjected to a level of cruelty that has no place in modern Australia," he said.
